The latest mobile App I am using is NGPay. The caption of the app is, “India’s Largest Mall on the Mobile”.
I am using it for the ticket reservation on IRCTC. It works cool against using IRCTC on the web. The app is surely the one to check out for Railway booking.
I tried it for paying my Airtel Bills and Recharging my mum’s Airtel Prepaid. But Mchek suits it better than Ngpay.
The Utility bill section seems to miss a lot of options. The Phone bills does not have option to pay BSNL. I tried using some of the financial applications. But little skeptical about using it on the mobile.

For the past couple of weeks, whenever I did a post on my blog, I use to add the URL as status to Facebook , Orkut and my gtalk.
Thanks to integration between facebook and Twitter, I was able to update my facebook and twitter in one shot. Just tweet the post and it will get automatically updated as your facebook status. It is not only blog posts but all your tweets.
For this to happen :
- You need to add twitter to your facebook account.
- Also use the option available in facebook for allowing twitter to update Facebook Status.
Thanks to Vijay for initiating this thought.
I tried searching for such an app for orkut. It does have some application but not a tight coupling like the one in FB.

I read a lot of RSS Feeds on
Google Reader, mostly blogs on the latest trends on the web. I also have subscription to the
Featured slideshows from
Slideshare.net. Slide share is a cool social presentation site where you can publish your presentation for the whole word to have a look at. But the Feed of the slide share has only a title and in the content it has an image and a bit of description which the author has given while uploading the show.
One of the most important info I feel to be published should be the number of slides present in the show. This will help me make a decision on whether I can make a decision based on the weightage of the title vs the number of slides and the time to be spent on looking @ that many number of slides.

Today I logged on to the
SiliconIndia website for accepting one the request for social networking. But I was shocked to see some one else profile on my profile and my public profile. I am not sure how this happened and I feel I am getting false request due to this problem. I thought of removing my name from the web site. I went into the settings and Deleted the profile.
After deletion I am able to browse through the secured pages of my account. I logged out of the website and thought of relogin. I am sure the credentials are not cleared on logout properly. I was directly taken on to the site after logout.
I purposely removed all the cookies of this website and tried relogin and my login and my email still is present with them.
Please beware of using it in public computers.

How many of you use IM@ibalerts.com via GTalk. I am a sparse follower of day today news. I got interested by the release of the News via IM Alerts by
IBN Live. But the alerts are not upto the mark. They send a link along with every alert they send. But none of the urls have a unique url. Every URL lands on the ibnlive.com home page and does not have a relevant news pertaining to the url.
I am not sure whether IBN live is working on such a thing which gives news according the url and the content send across.
I don’t say it is not useful. But I am going to keep myself away from clicking those urls.
