Google Reader Cookie blocks itself !!!

I moved from bloglines to Google reader about a year and half back. I really enjoy using this RSS Reader from Google due to the good usability and the additional features like shared on a post basis which is not present in bloglines at the time I switched.

For the past two days, I am seeing some strange problem in Google Reader. When one of the cookie by name reader_offline gets set to the browser, only the top band of the reader gets loaded. I am not even able to sign out of the service to re login to fix the issue. It is necessary that I need to remove that particular cookie myself to make it work once again.

This problem happens in the latest firefox 3.0. It works perfectly fine in Internet Explorer 7. I have removed the Better GReader plug-in too which I had previously.

If anyone has experienced similar problem, do let me know how to get rid of this.

Learn on the Move !!

I am expecting the world to move to the next way of doing things. This is nothing but the usage of the mobile technology and mobile phones for everything. One such industry is providing learning solutions on to the mobile. I came across a companies providing such applications.

Mad Mobile Software

It provides downloadable softwares that can be installed on to your mobile phones and can be used when you are on the move. The beauty of the application is that it don’t connect to the Web after installation. It is self built and you don’t have to pay any additional GPRS bills except the once you spent while downloading. It gives you papers for CAT/GRE/GMAT/SAT Examinations. I am not sure how they are gonna make money, as they are giving these contents free of cost for the Users. Mobility is the one that is when we waste a lot of time. Softwares like this are going to help us save a lot of time.

Rapid Share and Audio Books!!!

Rapidshare is a site that hosts files that can be shared with different people. The site has a number of audio books hosted on to it. I was trying to download a couple of them. I was a trial user. The captcha of Rapid share is so troublesome that we need to identify unidentifiable cats hidden inside the captcha.

Today morning I was amazed to see that the captcha does not show up and rapid share seems to have some thing called happy hours where they are not showing captcha. But the other norms like long waiting hours before your IP gets allotted download thread seems to be there on subsequent downloads.
