Larry Page is the co-founder of Google. He explains that there are a lot of opportunities present around us and we are not ready to take them up and convert them correctly into a commercial winner. The area like Thermal , Solar Energy and Accident prevention are todays necessity and a very very few people work on the same and the progress we make in these areas are very very less.
Excellent read on CNN Money

I always strive for broadening my thoughts and knowledge. It is not a special one. Almost 99% of the world tries to do that. Recently I switched from
Bloglines to Google for my RSS Reading. It has a wonderful feature called Discover which introduces new feeds to you based on your previous reading. Initially I thought It would help me explore new horizons. But later it helps to refine my feed reading on the particular subject I am reading and not helping me move out of the borders. On a broader spectrum, I understood it is not possible for a tool to suggest you where you should explore more. Only age and your broader view and the spark happening in you when you come across some technology can help you do this.
Tune your ears and eyes to be open for anything new you hear and see. Good luck on your venture of reading.
Looking out for a tool that can suggest me something like this.
Cheers,
Ranjith

I have a very strong belief that the Eastern world will jump quietly to the world of mobile with most people using computers skipping a couple of decades.
There was a good comment on the TechCrunch post of Google Gears and Zoho.
It will be fun to see where this goes over time. Zoho is interesting, but what I really want to do is to use my phone to order and pay for a beer at the local bar - while I am still on my way there. Give me the ability to easily do that on a phone with more than single-digit market share and then you will have my interest.
More and more softwares pertaining to the usage in mobile are coming out and one such application is the recent launch of the E Commerce Application of Airtel with some of the banks. Airtel launches for the first time in India a range of M-Commerce solutions in a wide ranging partnership with HDFC bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, Corporation Bank, VISA and mChek has more details on the story. As of now this service can be used to transfer money between credit/debit card, pay bills, recharge their phones, buy movie, air and buy rail tickets instantly.
In India, People already started using mobiles for more than just voice calls.

Should you make stuff aimed at people who usually buy your product?
or
Should you make stuff aimed at people who rarely do?
I got these questions from the Seth’s Blog. In my view both are equally important. The first one gives more and more credibility from your existing customers and the later one provides you a better expansion of your customer network and market. It is like two eyes of the product management. The former gives the depth and the later gives the breadth.
