On a chat with one of my friend, I commented , “All Gals are like that”. She told me back that don’t generalize things and everyone will have different thoughts and behavior. This happened a couple of years back. Analysis of this down the line closely made me understand that there is nothing in common across people and every one individually have different thoughts, character and way of life. This is beyond gender, religion, region and what ever they do.
But one of the leading IT Major of India Infy passed a comment like “Don’t hire any one from Satyam!!”. Even the most educated people have thoughts like me in generalizing stuffs. A guy with a few years of experience who is going to be thrown out of the Company will not have any knowledge about what happened and how it happened before he reads it from the press. How is it right to punish him for just being part of the company.

Advices are given and expected at different stage of life starting from childhood. Most advice given are forced. By forced, I mean the advice is given to reverse the course of receivers action. The forced advice should not be taken. But they are mostly taken due to non exposure to the pros and cons of the advice given. If taken the advice can lead to bad results.
The first piece of forced advice is given from the parents to the children. How many of the parents will allow their children to play on the field. I have seen people dumping with a lot of books around the small kid to learn at the age it needs to play. I was watching “Chutti TV”, the channel for kids in Tamil. It? has programs that increases the interaction of the child and further teaches the kid to identify a lot of things. How many of you allow the child to watch that?
Take an example of parents who are both Doctors. They want their child to be Doctor, mainly the males, so that he can become the next Doctor to continue the hospital, they built yesterday. They don’t listen to what he is doing from childhood. They will start enforcing it once he grows a minimal level of understanding. Even if he is not willing to do the course they will get it out making him to learn the course in a private college or so. There are guys who have discontinued their course due to non interest. The same will apply to civil Engineers having own construction.
Advice should never be forced. It will always create disinterest in the advice forced.
Flow advice is the one given once the child selects the field. The right advice for the current career should be given. Exposing and directing him to do some of the higher studies once he selects his field is the best kind of flow advice people can give. Once again it should not be forced. Show him the options, let him select.
People won’t do this perfectly due to two reasons,
- their son has taken a course they don’t line.
- the parent’s don’t have much exposure to the course he has taken.
The second reason can be forgiven. But still the parents should make way such that the guy gets are good adviser for him.
There are people who are not able to understand them self for whom we can forced advice. Even at this stage the advice should be in sync with the person but against his misunderstanding.

I am not sure why this thought came into my Mind today. I have updated the same on my
Twitter too. Anyhow today it is gonna be work for me. All of sudden a message landed on my mobile at a totally unsolicited time asking a question,
“Planning what to do this evening?”
I always used to spend this night at my friends house having all chats and gossips. This message is just a add for a service which can help find resturants, bars, club, around the city. I was autonished to see these guys sends a url that gets loaded on the mobile itself. India is moving moving very fast to the Mobile network rather than the conventional network used for the past 15+ years.
The service is nothing but B U R R P. Interesting to see these guys have options for the most happening cities of India - Mumbai,Bangalore,Delhi,Pune,Hyderabad,Chennai,Ahmedabad and Kolkata. It is good to see a lot of things happening in the mobile world of India. I am not sure how good the service it offers. I really loved the concept of the service.

Last week, my friend returned from America. He was bringing a couple of bottles of liquor in a separate bag. He was forced to place the bag inside the Check in luggage. As he landed here in Bangalore, he was shown torn paper bags into which he kept the bottles before keeping it on to the actual bag stating the bottles were broken and these are the remains of your baggage. He understood that they are playing a fools game and he asked for meeting with the Airport manager. The real surprise happened then.
The airport manager was so reluctant to speak English. He answered only in kanada for my friend’s questions in English and Hindi. My friend told that he want to book a complaint on this for which he responded in English giving him the papers for filing the complaint. He once again inquired around the office people about making a complaint for which they replied that the complaint will be on to the trash.
It is really sad that people are not doing their responsibility right.
- Even though it is legal to bring alcohol into the country, the rule is yet to be passed in the Airport Authorities.
- Further the airport authorities should grow a lot of learn how to do their job. Being in customer service, you should know how to treat customers.
Come On India Grow UP.

Temperature is increasing everywhere in line with the Global Warming. This season Chennai has touched 43 deg C. If we go the same way, we will beat Hyderabad sooner. People say it is better to live in second and third level cities than Chennai.
People are not realizing why the temperature is raising. There are two main reasons. One we cut down the natural resources to build houses and using of lot of electronic gadgets as well as mechanical equipments which is increasing the temperature around us indirectly in way of Global warming.
Some of the precautions people can do to come out of this or atleast to maintain the temperature at the same level in the years to come.
- Plant at least a couple of trees after you cut down trees for the construction. I don’t see any trees grown around a big appartments.
- Switch Off Gadgets and Equipments when they are not in use. Don’t even keep them in stand by mode.
Let us leave a Better Chennai for the next generation !!!
