Question  1 :- A work can be completed in 15 days by 5 person. After two days of work, we add 4 more people to the work . How long is the total duration to complete the work ?

Solve this before you go into the next one.

Question 2 :- We have food for 15 days for 2 people. After two days we received a couple of guest to our house. How long will the food last for in total?

These are simple [similar] questions which you come across in all Aptitude exams. Both are similar questions. But most people will take different ways to solve this question.

The procedure people used to solve these two questions were different. I am not sure whether the numbers really made the difference or the subject of the problem makes it. All Person-Work equations are used for solving the first one while the second one was solved directly by subtraction and division. I am not sure how people will think when the order of questioning is reversed.

It is after a very long time, I was having a glance of the beautiful morning today. It was so beautiful that I feel bad for missing it every day. I am one in the ocean of the so called fast moving world of IT work force which has completely changed my style of living from others.

As I drove back home today morning @ 5 AM, it was so beautiful that the moon [in full version] just moving out and sun coming up. I can see a lot of people who move out to work while I am yet to sleep for yesterday.

I read some time back in an article that states that It will be good to have a mentor. Mentor will guide you better in the next things you would like to do in this world. I am just wondering what are the criteria to select a mentor for me. I am looking out for a person to mend me in the positive direction.

Alternatively I feel it will be good to be a metor too for some one who may put us in a direction of them.

In both the case, I learn something new which I don’t know before. But the real push or the anxiety to learn or try new things should come from both the mentor and mentee to drive in the positive direction.

Looking forward to select a mentor.

My friend told me this story over a party last week end !!!

In a saloon , there is a barber doing his job over a head of an old man. A small boy just peeped into a saloon.

The barber told the old man, “This guy does not have sense. If we show him a 2 and 5 rupee coin, he always picks the 2 rupee coin.”.

The barber showed him the boy with a five rupee coin in one hand and a two rupee coin in one hand. The boy took the 2 rupee coin and went away. The old man after getting his work done at the shop came out and saw the boy singing happily with an ice cream.

The old man went to the boy and asked, “Don’t you know that the 5 rupee coin values more than the two rupee coin?. Are you such an Idiot ?”.

The boy replied, “You know the game will be over the day when I take the 5 rupee coin.”

The old man realized his sense and went away.

Hope you realized the insight of the story. This story makes much sense in your official life.
