Mcheck on Airtel is a payment gateway for making Airtel post paid bills and recharging the Prepaid cards. I was using Mcheck for making payments for my mobile bills. The mobile on which I was using mcheck got corrupted and was no further useful. I got a new mobile which does not support Applications. I had a couple of CCards added to my Mcheck app previously. I want to remove those cards associated from the previous number. But I was not able to succeed in my attempt.
Do you know any way to make it happen?

I switched to Sun Direct some 4 months back. I am missing the CNN IBN and some related news channels as these are part of the paid channels.I am thinking about reviewing the switch back after a couple of months.
But the most cumbersome one is the recharge of the paid channels and the basic package used in the sun direct system.
The on Going Recharge System :
- Go to the Sun Direct Retailer
- Buy a coupon and add it to your Smart Card [unique card for every customer of Sun Direct.]
- Adding to smart card can be done via website or calling the customer care.
- Select the package you want based on your recharge.
I am doing this process for the past three months. Today I landed on the page which will be just cut down the going to the retailer. Even then it is a separate page http://sundirect.in/pg.php which will help you topup your smart card. I need to do this every month or else I will have to transfer a high value [equivalent to three or four months], so that I can do the process every three or four months. But by this way we will be locking some money into the Sun Direct.
Sun Direct website [sundirect.in] can be better optimized in such a way you swipe your card against the package you choose and the Credit / Debit card will be charged directly month on month or as per the plan choosen. May be an notice via SMS three days before the detection for the customer will reduce a lot of manual work involved in this process.
If any one know any short cut, please help

Yesterday I went to a hotel [Vasantha Bhavan] at Egmore railway station. They served two cups of Sambar for a single Dosa.I was able to complete the dosa with a single cup. When I asked the bearer, the reason for serving two cups, he says, some people are asking for extra sambar and added that the sambar cup not used by me will be a thrown into the waste bins. But in most cases the sambar used may a little more than one cup or a cup. They can better think of serving only the needy with an extra cup or atl east increasing the cup size a little more. When I took this to the manager of the hotel, he does not seem to take care of it. People are not much aware of the diminishing water resources of the world.
I am against serving Sambar/Chutney and other gravy in a separate dish. Even @ home, I never use separate plates for kootu or poriyal, We need to accomodate them to in your main food plate. Better use a bigger plate. Serving Sambar for Dosai [Gravy for a main dish] in Hotel are of two kinds.
- Give the sambar in separate cup
- Serving the main dish and serving sambar on demand
When the serving is done using the case ( 1 ), there are more wastages of food as well as the water we use for cleaning those vessels. When you order a meal in hotels, they will give ten cups of ad ons to the meal [curry and Gravy] which is going to consume a lot of water on cleaning. I accept customers have to wait for a while to get the sambar served in case (2), But customers are going to visit you back only based on the quality of the food and the care you show on serving them.
On their business side, they are going to gain based on the amount of water they are going to buy for cleaning purpose and the cost of manufacturing of the food, as the waste is coming down.
And the most important, Hoteliers need to think of the necessity of water for our next generation.

I learnt all science and maths and some more stuffs starting from my school to college. But I was never taught how and why should I obey traffic rules. Even my Driving school masters did not teach it properly.
Today morning, as I drove down to office,
- A man on a cycle moved from the right end of the road to his left [and my left] without even bothering that a car is coming from his back,
- A biker entered the main road from a smaller road with the same speed he used to drive @ the highway. He never bothers about who is coming on the highway.
- A Couple of days back I saw a gal who does not even land her one leg on floor when the bike stops is driving @ 40 Kmph on a road that has good traffic.
people start driving when they are around 10 years old and we don’t need a license. I think the rules should be taught from the schools, so that people will follow them when they start.

Gone were the days when my father used vessels to buy fresh meet and my mother use to have bags to buy vegetables. People use to carry some bags either made of plastic wires or cloths which is re used many times. But today the world is different and we are getting poly bags everywhere even if we buy for Rs 5/-.
Polythene bags are one of the non decomposable material which pollutes the environment. For the past one month, I am not taking any poly bag when I can carry things on my hand.
People have become used to this model. It is tough today to completely bring it to a stand still on the bag usage. But we can atleast avoid taking poly bags when it is not really needed.
Let us make the world better place to live for the next generation.
