Traffic Rules @ Schools

I learnt all science and maths and some more stuffs starting from my school to college. But I was never taught how and why should I obey traffic rules. Even my Driving school masters did not teach it properly.

Today morning, as I drove down to office,

  • A man on a cycle moved from the right end of the road to his left [and my left] without even bothering that a car is coming from his back,
  • A biker entered the main road from a smaller road with the same speed he used to drive @ the highway. He never bothers about who is coming on the highway.
  • A Couple of days back I saw a gal who does not even land her one leg on floor when the bike stops is driving @ 40 Kmph on a road that has good traffic.

people start driving when they are around 10 years old and we don’t need a license.  I think the rules should be taught from the schools, so that people will follow them when they start.

Cheers - Ranjith
