Rescue Operation Chennai - Post Rains !!!

Every one here around chennai is fully drowned in water for the past two days. The rains stopped before 24 hours and yet the water are to be drained from the most of the places around the city. I reside in Madipakkam-Ram Nagar South. There is no way for the water to go out of the Ram Nagar South area to the Pallikaranai marshy lands. The bridge on the Velachery main road is under construction for the past 1 year and this bridge is the only way to drain the water from the Ram Nagar South. I don’t see much of work happening around the place and the water level around my house is at the same level for the past 24 hours and things does not seem to improve. I am not sure what the Corporation is doing on this regard.

I tried reaching a couple of Emergency numbers published on the Hindu and the numbers are not reachable.

Is there any relief operation really happening across Chennai?

Interesting Laws Continued !!!

It is just two days after I posted the Interesting laws on my blog. The wiper water got emptied this morning. We were travelling down the road from  Thiruvanmiyur [LB Road] to catch up the OMR. As it is a humid day due to the heavy rains here in chennai, the wind shield is getting covered by fog and due to no water we were not able to use the wiper. With no other way, we stopped by a shop and bought some water packets and half filled the wiper tank and cleaned the windshield a little. After the car moved a while for about 3oo meters and in about five minutes, it started to drizzle a little which pushed the water in the wiper tank of a second priority.

These laws are seemed to be facts !!!
