I moved from bloglines to Google reader about a year and half back. I really enjoy using this RSS Reader from Google due to the good usability and the additional features like shared on a post basis which is not present in bloglines at the time I switched.

For the past two days, I am seeing some strange problem in Google Reader. When one of the cookie by name reader_offline gets set to the browser, only the top band of the reader gets loaded. I am not even able to sign out of the service to re login to fix the issue. It is necessary that I need to remove that particular cookie myself to make it work once again.

This problem happens in the latest firefox 3.0. It works perfectly fine in Internet Explorer 7. I have removed the Better GReader plug-in too which I had previously.

If anyone has experienced similar problem, do let me know how to get rid of this.

I read about http://www.88888.co.in/ the site that insist you to cut off all your electricity usage for 8 minutes on 8/8/8 at 8 PM. I think we should take this movement seriously and do this. I hate things that are always associated with a day.

Father’s day / Mother’s day - Do you think of them only on those days. You think about them all days.

In the similar fashion, it will be good to extend this to all days. You can try the following:

• Try to sleep one day night without Air conditioners if you are a regular user of it.
• Try to switch off all your fans, keep your beds arranged near the open windows for one day.
• Stop keeping electric appliance like Television in the standby mode.

We can have a long growing like this.

Let us give the globe a longer life !!!
