I was there to Ascenda’s Food Court today evening. The infrastructure is amazing with leading vendors like McDonalds, KFC, Subway, etc., The prices too were amazingly high. My mind went into a comparison between the price of US and India. A veg delight in US cost around US $1.5. The same cost around Rs 50/- here @ the subway @ Ascendas. The price as such compared was Rs 10/- to 15/- higher in US when compared in Indian money.

But the real comparison should be the Cost to Salary ratio. A normal salary in US in a software industry [any industry ] will be around $5000. But a normal guy in a Software industry earns around 20 to 30,000/- which calculates to less than $800. India is much costlier when compared to US on the food industry as the salary itself is 5 times less than US. On the same note the normal wage paid in any industry won’t have much difference when compared to India. In India, a normal person starting his career in a mechanical industry will get some where around 5 to 8K in Indian money.

I spent most of the time today watching television and lying down lazily on the bed. On a normal day in an average, I watch TV may at a rate of 10 mins/day. I read on an article on How much time people waste on watching television.

But do you think it as a waste of time ? There are a lot of time passes in life which will make you feel better for your next day or next adventure. So it is all depend on How you want to free up your mind.
