Reliance Datacard - My Friends’ view
I wrote about the performance of the broadband using the Airtel Datacard which was very slow inside Chennai city itself. It seems that the Reliance Datacard also has the same compliant of the slowness and bad performance. Here is a post from my friend stating the performance. I am yet to try out the card. But I witnessed a very good performance of the data card from Tata Indicom when I used the same in my trip to Bijapur. One of my friend there had the card and was working pretty good. I am not sure whether the performance is due to the lowest number of data card users in the town.
When I called the airtel customer care to get an idea of what makes the performance of the data cards, they wanted me to try connecting my airtel mobile to my laptop and try accessing internet which needs another set of connectors between my machine and the mobile. The mobile bandwidth need to be improved a lot in the city to have a better performance of the data cards. As of today, even the voice call lines get jammed on special occasions.
