I wrote some time back on slowing down and an iteresting example on
where you part your car.? I came across an interesting article in
ZenHabits on slowing down and benefits of the same. Very good points to follow.
- Slow Eating - more time to digest food in mouth
- Slow workout - running tears your knee muscle much much more than walking
- Slow Attention - more time for your brain to digest it better.
- Slow Reaction - Your brain will work more than your heart.
cheers - Ranjith

A couple of years back, people were buying day to day needs in road side shops bargaining at least a couple of penny. Today people are going into bigger plazza like Reliance and Spencers and ready to pay a couple of penny more. I expect this to come online in this year where people are ready to pay a couple of rupee additionally for the same. But this is still applicable to only a fraction of total Indian population.
- 30% of the Indians are moving faster than others.
- They don’t want to get into small penny fights and waste time.
- 30% have more money and don’t know what to do with that.
- Some have a thought to show off that they bought this in so and so place which is a waste.
Online shopping of these day today materials is going to break out by the end of 2008. This is still going to serve only that 30% of the people and it is going to be like another real estate [not that big] boom where people are going to pay too much for the vegetables and other smaller stuffs as service charges.
To validate this we do have a food on call used more in the cities and people are ready to pay more for the same.
