The Art of Innovation

I was listening to the key note address of Guy Kawasaki. He is Apple Evangelist worked in the Mac division in early 80s. It was a wonderful speech to be heard if you are making a product in any field.

Some of the quick pointers from the speech.

  1. Make Meaning
  2. Make a Mantra
  3. Just jump to Next Curve or Create a new Curve
  4. Roll the DICEE
    • Deep Fanning
    • Inteligence
    • Completeness
    • Elegance
    • Emote
  5. Don’t Worry, Be Crappy
  6. Polarize People
  7. Let the hundred flowers blossom
  8. Churn Baby Churn.
  9. Niche thyself
  10. Follow the 10/20/30 rule - 10 slides - 20 minutes and 30 pts font presentation.
  11. Don’t let the bozos grind you down.

Do set aside an hour time to hear to it. It is worth listening.

Beating the Zebra Crossing at a One Way !!!!

In this world nothing can be done in parallel. A month back the Guindy, Saidapet , Raj Bhavan roads has been made as one ways for better traffic control and flow. This made three Zebra Crossing at three points.

  1. At the Sardar Patel Road,
  2. Mount Road, and
  3. the connecting road of Little mount and Raj Bhavan.

As of now the traffic is let to flow by itself and self beat the crossing by themselves. You can see a new surprise everyday if you drive in these roads everyday, atleast a new barricade. Barricades are one of the worst forms of accidents in roads. How about setting a signal post at the centre of the road and people wanting to beat the Zebra crossing from each way will wait for some time [ 30 secs] in the signal for the time the other way people will cross. We can also make provision for people crossing the road.

Just my thought!!!

A Lunch on Love !!!

Yesterday as a matter of change we invited one of our Director Rajendran to our Dinning Table @ the Lunch hour. He is a great personality who can give answer for everything. As expected the discussion started with question on Love headed by Ashok. One of the quote delivered by him is

“Absence is to love as wind is to fire; It extinguishes the small and kindles the great.”
                                                                                                              –  Roger de Bussy-Rabutin

It is a very true fact and people can hold it to their heart. You can really justify your love with this saying.

Love - Ranjith
