Working more than 24 hours !!

It is real that we do multiple work at the same time. But I cannot think a way we can work more than 24 hours day.

It is the same principle that is applicable to machines. If you want to shorten the time of creation of anything, we do a  mutilthreading , but we dont see a considerable decrease in time unless we use a multiprocessor.  Even a multi threaded program on a single processor machine will use only the time slice of another thread on its wait time. I consider human being to a single processor machine and can do something that is not more than 24 hours a day.

I accept that we do use a maximum of the possible time available for us.

Following is the climb by a research organisation.

“Our research showed that people somehow managed to shoehorn 31 hours
of activity into a 24-hour day,” said Colleen Fahey Rush, executive
vice president for research at MTV Networks, which worked with an
online research company, OTX, last year. “That’s from being able to do
two things at once.”

Kick Starting some of the things ..!

Last week JK was here with us at our home for a good discussion on the stock market. We had a good time getting some knowledge on some of the following points.

A very basic questions from us - What is an Index with respect to the Stock Market ?

Nothing but a points controlled by a list of 30 worthy stocks in the market, the index will swing based on the prices of these stocks.

followed by a lot of questions on what is trading and who will give you stocks and why a company comes out with an IPO and who controls the total share market and who is getting benefited by what and when.

I thought of doing an active trading since last week and I am opening an account with the kotak securities tooo. It is interesting to know that finance is a very good subject to work with and I really missed it as one of my subject in college days.  I am planning to do more into the share market and wanna become a good share analyser and investor. Needs to read more into this.

Fiesta Sounds Good …!

I took our Thalais’ Fiesta home last night and I was driving the vechicle with a lot of caution as I am driving this car without the presence of Murali or Rakeeb. I was with Chittu on the car and the drive was more cautious as it was dark outside.

When we pulled the car out for drive this morning, It was really a great experience. The sound of the car was at 0 which I experienced last night itself. The drive was good  with the bannet visible to my eyes a bit the seating comfort was also good. But I had little problem in viewing the rear view. since I was on to the front of the car and the rear views are in line with me a little front. May be it may be my presonal experience.

Everything was good but what is the tell about the economy…  I filled the tank for 500/- which can give me a 10.5 litre of petrol and the KM at which the car will come to stop if unfilled after this hardly raised by 83 kms. which says the car can give a milage of 9 kmpl. That was bad as the petrol price rise is on the cards with the government.

Overall I enjoyed the drive of the Car.

May be I am not sure I can compare it with Swift. My Experience is far better than driving a swift.
