Ranjith’s Castle

Coming from the southern part of Tamil Nadu where you get good food at a very affordable price. As days are moving, the food is getting bad and costly in Chennai. Yesterday we happened to dine at a restuarant which is know for good food at Triplicane. They have started a branch in velachery. All Chennai makkal might have guessed the name.

They gave us a meal for Rs 35 /- than does not even have a curd as part of it. Atleast you have to say that the rasam was good. The quantity was little more than the amount of rice, I take for my Sambar sadam at home. We ordered for Madhulai Juice. Sure that was a little powdered water. It was very cheep at Rs 27/-  We canceled it and got a replacement for that which was little more concentrated. We paid a bill of 200++ which we felt as a waste.

Let us go to Minerva or Millan or Srinivaasa next time and not to Ratna Cafee. Not even for a test drive.

These are some of my learnings after attending the BarCamp Chennai. There are lot more things that has to be done while attending a show.

Dos’ :

• Perfectly make sure without any personal problems you can make it for the any number of days for the presentation is ON.
• Well prepare your presentations and make sure you can challenge Murphys’ Law, even thou you can’t
• Do the presentation on a morning session so that you can get the Lunch session interations more towards your product. - perfect is Morning session of Day ONE when there will be the most participants of the show.
• Show interest in other people’s court and know what they are doing? They will do that in return.
• Make sure everyone is watching your presentation and ask questions back. Make sure your webpage is viewed by everyone on their Laptops.
• Get involved on more discussions with the organizer. Help them out with any work if you can. Make them friends.
• Make sure you are present in the evening Party toooo.

Don’ts:

• Don’t Provide more information in your presentation - Give it offline in discussions.
• Don’t try to push all your ideas on a straight forward way, once you meet a person. Wait for your turn.
• Don’t Go out of the Show in a rush at the end of the final  day. Spend some time around with people there.

Today we had a excellent Drive to Mahabs and we did 150 Kmph on the Turbo which I bought two months back. The vehicle was doing excellent and was giving a good performace at that speed toooo.

We enjoyed the drive. All Credit goes to Rakeeb who did that…

I used to Drive only at 80 to 100 kmph…

Got an interesting comment on my post on Taazza which I made at Barcamp chennai stating only the website of the DesiCrossRoads.

That was indeed a good site. That has the list of latest news for India. But I dont see a way of customization or search for news which Taazzaa or MyToday is going to have in the days to come. We will wait and see what these guys are going to solve in the days to come.

I have got a couple of issues or two of my usecase not met prefectly on the new update of the bloglines.

• Sticky left movement of the left frame to maximize the feed reading space.

• Actually I dont want this option to be there. I am quite Comfortable with the area on the right.

I am not happy with Bloglines today.
